Torbin Bullock - Lead Editor (Skydance Animation)

Now at Skydance Animation with Pixar Founder John Lasseter, Torbin began at Pixar in 1995, where he started on ‘Toy Story’ as an Assistant Editor in Editorials 35mm Film Conform room. Since then, he has worked on the majority of Pixar feature and a host of shorts from the position of Assistant Editor all the way through to Supervising Editor. This involves mechanically and creatively “making the movie feel like a movie” through the combination of edit- ing storyboards, dialogue, sound effects, music, layout, animation and final footage.

David James - Film Stills Photographer

Based in Los Angeles, David has produced award winning images for major hollywood films including 11 projects for Steven Spielberg and 15 collaborations with Tom Cruise. He was awarded the ICG/Publicist award for excellence in stills photography and the S.O.C Lifetime Achievement Award and is the president of the Society of Motion Picture Stills Photographers.

MICHAEL WEIR - DIRECTOR (RENDR / BELFAST PHOTO FESTIVAL)

Michael has been Director of the CAPCON since 2018. He has worked in the creative industries since 2009 with a specialisation in photography and visual art. His passion for the convergence of creativity across film, gaming, animation and immersive technologies drove him to create RENDR Festival, a new place where all forms of visual creativity and craft are celebrated and shared.

He nominates and judges for a number of international awards, including the ICP Infinity Awards (New York) and SIFEST (Bologna). He also regularly reviews internationally, including Art Taipei (Taiwan), Les Rencontres d'Arles (France), Singapore International Photography Festival (Singapore), East Wing (Dubai) and Chobi Mela (Bangladesh).

Muki Kulhan - CIO (Muki-International)

Creative and forward-thinking CIO/Executive ImmersiveXR Producer and Creative R&D with over two decades of professional, award-winning experience as Director and Producer at BBC and MTV among others.

Declan Keeney - CEO (Studio Ulster)

Board member of the British Film Institute and British Council, Declan is also an award winning filmmaker and academic who is leading on Belfast’s virtual production studio complex.

Colin Williams - Founder / Creative Director (Sixteen South)

His work has notched up to 30 international awards including British Animation Award, Prix Jeunesse, BAFTA’s and an EMMY nomination.

Andrew Reid - Head of Production (NI Screen)

Andrew is responsible for the investment of Northern Ireland Screen’s annual development, production and skills fund as well as delivery and development of the companies schemes.

Helen Sloan - Production Stills

Television and feature film photographer known for her role as principle stills photographer on Game of Thrones. Sloan is a Nikon Europe Ambassador and European Vice President of the Society of Motion Picture Stills Photographers.

Kris Kelly - CEO / Founder (EnterYes)

In addition to commissions for companies such as BBC, HBO and Comic Relief, Kelly has created films and digital media including immersive games and experiences, winning the 2013 Inter- national Emmy for My Autism and Me.

Greg Maguire - CEO (Humain)

Greg has been Instrumental in the launch and development of numerous heavy-hitters in animation working for companies such as Disney Animation and Lucasfilm. He helped found the Animation course at University of Ulster as well as a number of animation and gaming companies.

Nigel McAlpine - Immersive Tech Lead (Digital Catapult)

Nigel is an experienced and innovative digital content producer with a passion for technology. His experience includes 20 years at the BBC.

Phil Morrow - CEO (Retinize)

Phil has 25 years of experience in entertainment, including establishing an independent production company and working as an executive at Channel 4, Mentorn, Thames and UTV. Morrow now leads RETìníZE, one of the worlds leading creative tech companies.

Victoria Eyton - Senior Creative Producer (Darkfield / IDA XR Studio)

Senior Creative Producer/Creative Director at DARKFIELD and Co-founder at Ida XR Studio, Eyton works at the forefront of immersive technology.

Kevin Beimers - Creative Director (Italic Pig)

Award winning Founder / CEO Italic Pig Beimers leads on development of a collection of sarcastically epic indie games.
