Germán Díez
Germán Diez is Head of Studio and Creative Technologist at Nexus Studios, working across visual effects, animation, and emerging technologies. An Emmy Award–winning creative, he was recognised for his work on the immersive UFC experience at the Sphere in Las Vegas and has served as VFX Supervisor on projects ranging from large-scale immersive installations to feature films such as The House (2022).
With a background in story-led visual effects, Germán has contributed to award-winning productions including Isle of Dogs and The Outlaw King. At Nexus Studios, he led AI-driven R&D on the Cannes Grand Prix–winning Pedigree Adoptable campaign and now drives the studio’s AI and real-time strategy for clients including Netflix, Amazon Studios, and Disney. His work focuses on ensuring new technologies remain grounded in craft, creativity, and human storytelling.
